"I had a fantastic dining experience at Sari Wangi, an authentic Indonesian restaurant in Johor Bahru. The flavors were incredible, with a perfect balance of spices in every dish. Their signature Nasi Tumpeng was absolutely outstanding—a beautifully presented rice cone surrounded by a variety of flavorful side dishes like ayam goreng, sambal, and fresh vegetables. It was a true feast for the senses! The other dishes were also standout favorites. The warm, welcoming service and cozy ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Sari Wangi for anyone craving delicious Indonesian cuisine!"

"Relatives at Johor spoke highly about this restaurant and brought me to test the authenticity. I ordered nasi uduk and tested a few other dishes. I found nasi uduk taste right but wrong composition, it was nasi uduk flavour but with nasi lemak presentation with the Sambal and fried anchovies. I recommended bakwan dan ketoprak. They have authentic taste as the Indonesian. The price of pempek is not worth it. I found it too expensive for one piece. The restaurant was crowded during my visit but the servers worked excellent."

"Food was delicious and authentic. Ordered ikan bakar tilapia, bakmi ayam bakso, soto ayam betawi, rendang sapi, nasi tumpeng, es chendol special and 3 layer tea. I particularly like the rendang sapi. It was very fragrant and it has the coconut bits in the gravy. All dishes were delicious but can skip the ikan bakar tilapia. The ikan had not much meat, mostly bones and not that fresh."
